Some Broad Choices from Broadview Security
Broadview Security started out as Brink’s Home Security, a subsidiary of The Brink’s Company. Based in Irving, Texas, Broadview Security provided home security, monitoring services and home security equipment to more than 1.3 million customers in the United States. In early 2010, Broadview Security was acquired by Tyco International, the parent company of ADT Security, the largest home security provider in the country.

Broadview Security is now part of ADT Security, offering the same comprehensive list of services ADT customers have known for years.

Services
As part of ADT Security, Broadview has a wide variety of security solutions for both commercial and residential customers. Though the Broadview name still exists, the services and technology are all branded with the ADT name.

Below is a list of some of the services Broadview and ADT provide:

  • Home security monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that utilizes eight interconnected command centers located throughout the United States. These monitoring centers act as one virtual nationwide monitoring platform.
  • Installation of home security systems
  • Installation of home surveillance systems
  • Personal emergency response systems
  • ADT Pulse™, an interactive security solution for mobile devices and Internet-enabled computers that enables customers to stay connected to their home security system when they’re not home. ADT Pulse will send text messages and emails to customers in the event of any expected or unexpected security breaches.
  • Free home security evaluation

Monitoring Centers
Broadview’s and ADT’s monitoring centers operate all day, every day. Strategically located throughout the country, the monitoring centers offer continuous home security alarm monitoring to all Broadview and ADT customers. Customers’ alarm systems are linked to the monitoring centers so when an alarm goes off, a security professional is alerted immediately. The security professional then alerts the customer about the breach, and contacts emergency services if needed.
